Delete Your Account

You have the right to delete your RacquetSquads account and personal data at any time. Follow the steps below to submit a deletion request directly from the mobile app.

How to Delete Your Account

Open the RacquetSquads App

Launch the RacquetSquads mobile app on your iOS or Android device. Make sure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.

Go to Profile Settings

Tap your profile avatar in the bottom navigation bar, then tap "Settings" (the gear icon in the top-right corner of your profile screen).

Select Account & Privacy

Scroll down in Settings and tap "Account & Privacy". This section contains all options related to your personal data and account management.

Tap Delete Account

Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the Account & Privacy screen. You will be shown a summary of what data will be deleted and what may be retained for legal or operational purposes.

Confirm Your Identity

For security, you will be asked to enter your password or complete a verification step to confirm you are the account owner.

Submit the Deletion Request

Tap "Confirm Delete". Your deletion request will be submitted immediately. You will receive a confirmation email at your registered address.

What Happens to Your Data

When your deletion request is processed (within 30 days), here is how your data is handled:

Deleted within 30 days

  • Your name, email address, and profile photo
  • Your club memberships and roles
  • Your device tokens and session data
  • Your personal settings and preferences
📊

Anonymised & retained

  • Match results (shown without your name)
  • Tournament brackets and historical draw data
  • Aggregate platform statistics

This data cannot be linked back to you once anonymised.

⚖️

Retained for legal reasons

  • Transaction or payment records (if applicable)
  • Data required by applicable law or regulation
  • Safety and abuse-related records

Retained for the minimum period required by law.

Can't Access the App?

If you no longer have access to the mobile app or are unable to complete the in-app deletion process, you can submit a deletion request by email. Include your registered email address and we will process your request within 30 days after verifying your identity.

Important Notes

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account cannot be recovered.

If you are a Club Admin, your club data and member records are managed separately and will not be automatically deleted. Contact your Host Administrator.

Pending match registrations or active tournament entries may be withdrawn before deletion is processed.
