When you register via the RacquetSquads mobile app or accept a club invitation, we collect your name, email address, profile photo (optional), and role within a club.

Activity Data

We collect match results, tournament participation, ladder rankings, and scheduling information to provide our sports management services.

Device & Usage Data

We automatically collect device identifiers, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and session duration to improve performance and security.

Communications

If you contact us or receive club invitations by email, we store those communications to fulfill the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Operate and improve the RacquetSquads platform and mobile app
  • Manage club memberships, tournament draws, and match scheduling
  • Send transactional emails (invitations, match notifications, results)
  • Display your match history, ladder rankings, and tournament results
  • Monitor platform security and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

Within Your Club

Your name, match results, and rankings are visible to other members of the clubs you belong to. Club Admins can see your membership status and activity.

Public Match Results

If a tournament is marked public by a Club Admin, your match results, bracket positions, and standings may be visible on the public RacquetSquads website without login.

Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party providers (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics) under data processing agreements that require them to protect your data.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of RacquetSquads, its users, or the public.

No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Match results and tournament history may be retained in anonymised form.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure token-based authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you promptly if a breach affects your data.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (see our Delete Account page)
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities
  • Withdrawal of consent: Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time
